Music is the literature of the heart; it commences where speech ends." Great philosophers understood that music is essential to human happiness. Our voice is the most natural instrument we have, and we can use our vocal abilities to both communicate and celebrate. During all the highs and lows of life, we can sing songs to express every aspect of the human experience. This year our country is celebrating 75 glorious years of her Independence. To commemorate and celebrate this occasion – ‘AZADI KA AMRITMAHOTSAV’ we Josephites organized an Interhouse Patriotic Singing Competition on August 13th 2022. The young Josephites participated in both the solo as well as the group singing with much enthusiasm and fervour. They presented before us some of the most melodious and heart touching patriotic songs of yesteryears.We remembered the sacrifices made by the great freedom fighters of our country while we listened to those melodious renditions. We were glad to have amidst us the honorable judges, Reverend Fr. Arul,Secretary of our school, Mrs.Sunita and a renowned Vocal artist Mrs.Saswati Pal who were assigned with the tough job of judging the participants. The competition was a big success and it helped ignite the feeling of patriotism in the students and the teachers.
